Scuba Tune Up
. . . for certified divers
Not dived in a while let us brush up all your skills and ensure you are safe for your next dive. It only takes one session in the pool to get you back to the right standard.
It is highly recommended before you get back in the Open Water especially if you are going on holiday as some Dive Operators will require it.
The short classroom session focuses on dive theory and dive planning, looking at all dive safety aspects. We will then test your basic scuba skills in the heated pool. One to one tuition can be arranged, to meet your requirements, or if you have been out of the water for an extended time we could arrange a two hour intensive review; just speak to us as we are very flexible.
The Scuba Gear you will use
If you don’t own your own Scuba Gear then it is not a problem we will supply you with everything you need. However, it is always best to have your own gear especially the basic mask, snorkel, fins and boots.
The Learning Materials you need
We will supply you with the Padi Scuba Tune Up book for you to do your knowledge reviews before the pool session. SCUBA Tune Up is a learner-controlled guidebook designed to help you get back into diving and keep your knowledge in top shape.
Eight individual sections help you review:
- Safe diving practices
- Dive planning fundamentals
- Problem management.
- Breathing air at depth
- Recreational diving and dive tables both basic knowledge and dive planning.
SCUBA Tune Up lets you control the pace of your review: it asks you questions and allows you to measure your knowledge by directing you to subsequent pages, based on whether or not you answered correctly.
